I would like to take a minute to introduce myself as well as my family. My name is Randy Humphrey. I grew up in Plant City,
graduated from PCHS in 1985 and still have friends and family that call Plant City home. I am currently teaching 7th grade Science at
Tomlin Middle School. My beautiful wife of 10 years is Kimberly and my son is K'Land. We moved back home from west Georgia to
Plant City in 2006 to start a new work, HopeWeaver Community Church. While in Georgia I was working as a pilot for Atlanta
Southeast Airlines, the Delta Connection, out of Atlanta . I spent the previous 10 years of my life serving my country as a pilot in the
United States Army. Prior to entering the military I attended the University of Florida and graduated in 1989 with a B.S. in Agricultural
Economics. I graduated in May of 2006 from Luther Rice Seminary with my Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies. Back
at our sponsor church, Peachtree Community Church, in Villa Rica, GA, I served as the Outreach Minister and as the Children's
Minister.
My amazing wife Kimberly, who is the Worship Pastor at HopeWeaver, finished a two year program at Southern Seminary for her
certification in Women’s Studies. While at Peachtree, Kimberly served as the Minister to Women; mentoring, teaching and training
women to make a difference right where they are. Kimberly served there as the Assistant Worship Leader as well.. She was also
actively involved in prison ministry. For relaxation we like to ride our motorcycles! We are members of the Covenant Rider chapter of
the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Our pride and joy is our 17 year old son K'land. A student at Durant High School. He is action packed and full of life. He is the most
compassionate and caring young man that I have ever met. He enjoys his Sony PSP, watching TV, playing Guitar Hero, and playing
his music too loud. A future rocker! K’Land is eager to meet new people and to share the love of Jesus with them.
